As you can see from photo,
the ceiling has been boarded up, door has been removed and wall
re-boarded. All surfaces have had a skim of plaster to give
a smooth straight finish. Coving has also been added to create
a more stylish look.

new wire was run, ceiling patched and skimmed. Coving and new
door frame fitted.

1st photo: Around the socket
and wall light wire has been secured in with bonding. This is
a thicker type of plaster which is used under the finishing
skim to hold any fittings in place or fill any larger holes.
This gives a good strong base for finishing skim coat.
2nd photo: All walls skimmed
for smooth finish.

As you can see, the plaster
gives a straight smooth finish with sharp corners.
